Reducing Child Labor in Ethiopian Agriculture Using a Gender Focused Approach

The Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB), U. S. Department of Labor (USDOL, or the Department), announces the availability of approximately $5,000,000 total costs (subject to the availability of federal funds) for one cooperative agreement to fund a technical assistance project in Ethiopia to

credit:


reduce child labor in Ethiopia’s agricultural sector, with a focus on the informal sector, using a gender mainstreaming approach.

The project will focus on vulnerable women and adolescent girls (ages 15-17) working in agriculture.The duration of the project will be a maximum of 4. 5 years (54 months) from the effective date of the award.
