Research to Practice Center Grants for Adolescent Health Promotion in Order to Prevent Teenage Pregnancy
The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH), Office of Population Affairs announces the anticipated availability of funds for Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 under the authority of Section 241 of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C.
§ 238j).
The primary focus of OASH is leading America to healthier lives, especially for those who are most vulnerable, including those who have suffered historic disparities.
In support of this vision, OPA promotes health across the reproductive lifespan through innovative, evidence-based adolescent health and family planning programs, services, strategic partnerships, evaluation, and research.
Research investigating teen pregnancy prevention approaches is designed to give youth the information and skills to promote adolescent sexual and reproductive health and prevent teen pregnancy across the United States, especially among vulnerable populations, including those who have suffered historic disparities.

Additional Information of Eligibility:
Eligible Applicants Any public or private entity located in any one of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, U. S. Virgin Islands, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, Guam, Republic of Palau, Federated States of Micronesia, and the Republic of the Marshall Islands is eligible to apply for a grant under this announcement.
Community-based organizations, faith-based organizations, and American Indian/Alaskan Native/Native American (AI/AN/NA) organizations are eligible to apply.
Examples of eligible organizations include: • State Governments • U. S. territories • County Governments • City or township governments • Special district governments • Independent school districts • Public and State controlled institutions of higher education • Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized) • Public Housing authorities/Indian housing authorities • Native American tribal organizations (other than federally recognized tribal governments) • Nonprofits having 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education • Nonprofits without 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education • Private institutions of higher education • For profit organizations, including small businesses.
