Recovery Act - Lake Cachuma ARRA Improvements - Fire Suppression Water supply

The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR), Mid-Pacific Region, intends to award a sole source cooperative agreement to the Santa Barbara County Parks Department for the following program:
Recovery Act – Lake Cachuma ARRA Improvements – Fire Suppression Water Supply.

This project provides additional


storage for fire suppression which is required for minimizing wildfire and associated soil erosion, which would adversely affect the water quality at Lake Cachuma, as part of the modifications of the sewage treatment plant to ensure protection of anadromous fisheries in Hilton Creek and the Santa Ynez River.

The period of performance is from the date of award to December 31, 201 1. Estimate award date:
on or before June 30, 201 0. Estimated award amount:
$1,094,70 0. 0 0. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed financial assistance based upon Departmental Manual 505 DM 2, paragraph 2. 14(B) is solely within the discretion of the Government.
