Cedarock Park to expand with the aid of state grant

The Alamance County Recreation and Parks has received a state grant from the N.C. Parks and Recreation Trust Fund. Last April, Cedarock Park sets a record for attendance with 21,000 total visits. The grant in the amount of $245, 367 will be used for land acquisition and expansion of Cedarock enhancements by purchasing 78 acres between Friendship Patterson Mill Road and R. Dean Coleman Road.
