Johnstown Airport to Land a $250,000 Repair Grant

Agency - State Transportation Assistance Program

John Murtha Johnstown-Cambria County Airport is one of the $10 million grant beneficiaries in the state. A state Transportation Assistance Program grant will be given to the airport to upgrade its old hangars.


The Johnstown-Cambria County Airport Authority earns profits from the hangars through rent payments from private pilots and businesses that are based from the airport. The pilots and businesses close in bonuses through fuel sales and economic growth.
