Solid Waste Authority Secures More Than $42,000 State Grant to Boost Recycling Efforts
Agency - Department of Environmental ProtectionThe Clinton County Solid Waste Authority gets a total of $42,751 state grant to support recycling efforts in the state.
The grant was based on over 6,000 tons of materials that were recycled in 2010 along with the county’s population. State Sen. John Wozniak claims the grant will fund the preservation and protection of the environment, and support community recycling initiatives.
