NewPage Paper Mill to Train New Workers Thanks to State Grant

The NewPage paper mill will get to train more than 100 workers to help replace highly-skilled retiring workers thanks to state grant boost.

The $91,768 Minnesota Job Skills Partnership grant will enable the paper mill to secure specialized training for its workers. Lake Superior College also shared a portion of the grant. The training of the workers will commence in July.
