State Grant Trims Support on BCSC After-School Program

The Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp., a public education district, feels the impact of budget cuts when a state grant to support its after-school programs is reduced.

The state grant's amount is cut to 33 percent in most elementary and middle schools. The grant is used to financially sustain after-school enrichment programs and the school district had received $450,000 for four years.
