Brownwood Parks Department Applies Grant to Sustain Soccer Complex

Brownwood Parks Department will apply for a grant since the federal government has recently issued money to the state. The applied grant amounting to around $100,000 will be used toward the soccer complex.


The new soccer complex, located on Milam Drive near the baseball complex, will allow Centex Soccer and Soccer for Fun to use the same facility.

The Republic of Rwanda has been picked as one of the six African countries as beneficiaries for a new fellowship fund program designed at supporting social entrepreneurs in tackling issues on food security.
