Texas Department of Housing and Community affairs Awards State Grant

An agency working to prevent or lessen the effects of homelessness in San Jacinto County was one of the 38 agencies awarded by the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs with state grants that amounts to $8.7M.


The grant will be used to obtain permanent housing, as well as assistance with rehabilitation or conversion of buildings as emergency shelters.
