Department of Environmental Quality in Michigan Awards State Grant

The Department of Environmental Quality awarded a $375,622 grant to Calvin college for the Plaster Creek Watershed, one of the region's most polluted streams.


The grant will be used for community education efforts, faculty and student research, and for the reduction of storm water running into the creek.


Calvin College has been involved in the creek's restorative efforts for the past few years.
