Government Awards $2.9 Million Grants to Support Aurora Shooting Victims

Agency - Antiterrorism and Emergency Assistance Program

The Colorado Department of Public Safety (CDPS) receives a $2.9 million in grants to help victims of the Aurora movie theater shoot-out cope after the incident.


The grant is provided by the U.S. Justice Department's Office of Justice Programs' Office for Victims of Crime. The grants are funded through the OVC's Antiterrorism and Emergency Assistance Program (AEAP).
