Ham Park to See Improvements

The Yvonne Burke-John D. Ham Park was awarded a $5 million state grant by Lynwood. The grant is part of the $400 million Statewide Park Program under Proposition 84 that suggests awarding of grants for parks and recreation facilities.


The grant will be used for a new community center, more parking space, shade shelter, exercise stations, and picnic shelter.

The Republic of Rwanda has been picked as one of the six African countries as beneficiaries for a new fellowship fund program designed at supporting social entrepreneurs in tackling issues on food security.
