Tijuana River Valley Regional Park Gets $450K to Link 22-mile trail network

The Tijuana River Valley Regional Park has received a grant amounting to $450,000 from the State Coastal Conservancy Thursday. The grant will be used to provide a one-mile-long trail that will be linked to the 22-mile trail system connecting the Border Fields State Park, Tijuana River National Estuarine Research Reserve, California Coastal Trail and Bayshore Bikeway. As a result of the grant, trail systems in the regional parks will be improved and people will have greater access to wildlife habitats and scenic, peaceful reserves.
