Bevin Brothers Manufacturing Company Gets State Grant

The East Hampton bell company, Bevin Brothers Manufacturing Company, that was destroyed by fire last month receives a $100,000 grant from Connecticut's Small Business Express program.


The grant will be used to buy machinery and equipment for their 15 employees to start producing bells as soon as possible in their temporary facility.

The Republic of Rwanda has been picked as one of the six African countries as beneficiaries for a new fellowship fund program designed at supporting social entrepreneurs in tackling issues on food security.
