Hamden to Secure State Grant for Incubator Hub

Speaker of the House Brendan Sharkey (D-Hamden) announced that the state grant for the former Newhall Community Center redevelopment into a small business "incubator" hub will be approved next week.


According to Sharkey, a $5 million grant is expected to be released. The state grant will be used for the renovation of an old building at 496 Newhall Street. Hamden Economic Development Corp. will be managing the project.
