Cecil Spaceport Gets Ready for Launch with $1.8 Million State Grant

The Department of Transportation and Space Florida has provided a $1.8 million grant to be matched by Jacksonville Aviation Authority for the launch of the Cecil Spaceport.


According to officials, Cecil heralds competitive advantages in attracting commercial space operators and is "experiencing a high level of interest" from the industry.
