Hubbard House Gets State Grant for Shelter Expansion
Jacksonville domestic violence shelter, Hubbard House, gets $894,354 state grant to expand the number of beds from 86 to 116.
The Hubbard House project, which will require 10 more bedrooms and another kitchen and living room, needed a total of $389,877 in local matching funds. Hubbard House was one of 11 Florida shelters that earned expansion grants as part of a $10 million distributed by Gov. Rick Scott and his administration.
