Division of Banks Awards HAP Housing $140,000 for Mortgage Foreclosure Counseling

HAP Housing, an affordable housing development firm, receives $140,080 from the state Division of Banks to continue counseling homeowners who are at the brink of losing their homes to mortgage foreclosures.


Peter A. Gagliardi, executive director of HAP Inc. notes that foreclosures have many victims and if a house is abandoned, the whole community is blighted.
