Agency - Department of Public HealthAmong the 21 organizations awarded by the Illinois Department of Public Health with We Choose Health Grants is McHenry County Department of Health.
They received $298,994 to improve the health of the people in our communities. The grant will also be used to support existing Coordinated School Health program, establish safe walking/biking routes to schools, further smoke-free policies, joint use agreements, increase physical activities facilities, and make accessible roads for pedestrian traffic.
