Peoria Parks Secure $180,000 State Grant for Adventure Grove Project
Agency - Illinois Jobs Now infrastructure ProgramA $15 million of capital funds is geared towards the Adventure Grove project which is just adjacent to the Peoria Zoo. The Adventure Grove project is to be situated between the zoo and the upcoming Peoria PlayHouse Children's Museum.
Illinois Governor Pat Quinn also announced that a $180,000 addition for the project will be released. The funds came from the Illinois Jobs Now infrastructure program.
